Hey. I’m Michèle or as I like to call myself when I use a pencil: Mikelis.
I’m a 29-year-old artist living in Hamburg. Drawing my whole life, starting to paint in acrylics as a kid to studying at an art university in Berlin. I studied communication and started diving more into digital art. I worked as a creative all-rounder, helping to design packaging, print and digital projects. Some time ago, I illustrated a poster for a friend who moved to her new apartment, which inspired me to create more stuff. After that, I started to design shirts and illustrate more prints, and I am really enjoying the process. This is still a journey where I try to find my own style and figure out what I really want here, but on the way I create this little gallery where you can find my illustrations on shirts or paper, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

SUSTAINABILITY
This topic is as important to me as creating cool stuff. The shirts I use are PETA approved, so they are VEGAN. They have the standard 100 by OEKO TEX (one of the world's best-known standards for assessing harmful substances in fabrics). My shirts have the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certificates.
The brand I use is also FAIR TRADE.

Another important thing: PRINT ON DEMAND
MKLS has no stock. I print on demand, which means that I only create a shirt when you order one. So no waste, and not 100 T-shirts lying around, waiting for someone to wear them.
